DECA CLUB:
DECA is an organization that encourages students to develop skills in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. DECA helps students by increasing leadership skills and confidence by providing experiences in which students can grow and show their professionalism. OMS DECA is led by Mrs. Billups, the OMS marketing teacher. In DECA, students will be encouraged to compete in marketing competitions such as mock job interviews, community service campaigns, sports marketing events and much more.
Students can join DECA by completing a membership application from Mrs. Billups in room 510. The cost for membership is $35 and includes a chapter t-shirt. Payments can be made by My Payments Plus, Cash or Check. Students can apply to become a DECA Officer by completing an officer application.
Competitions
Competitions are open for ALL PAID members of DECA.
Students may compete on a local, regional, and state level.
Additional Fees are required for all competitions.
